Courtney is a 200-hour RYT and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She's a strong advocate for mental health awareness and movement as medicine. She believes that connecting with conscious breath and finding balance, patience and moving the human body is the key to journeying through life with happiness.
Courtney believes that each individuals body should be treated as their temple and be loved, nourished and taken care of on a mental and physical connection. With her strength training expertise, she bridges the gap between yoga and weight lifting by cross training the two. Teaching gives her the opportunity to share with her students the importance of finding a balance between strength and mobility, while safely aligning them through each asana and exercise.
Courtney is a bubbly spirit and fills her classes with high energy and hard work, but seeks the balance of yin and yang in each of her classes.
Off the mat and outside of the studio, Courtney spends her days hiking in the Pacific NW, running in Portland parks, spending time in nature and passing time with those who have brought life into her life while seeking out others that she can do the same for.
