I did my first yoga teacher training almost 10 years ago. I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to teach, but I was ready to add a new chapter to my story. Just a few weeks into it I was hooked. I realized pretty quickly that the teaching and learning goes both ways between the yoga teacher and the student. That relationship of exchanging energy of learning and teaching and giving and taking is one of the main things that I love about this practice.

When I am not working on a playlist looking for the best disco remix, or a different way to get your buns of steel sore, or finding a new Mary Oliver poem to share in class I am probably cheering on either my 3 boys on a soccer field or my husband on a bike. I love all kinds of games, from capture the flag to Clue all the way to Cards against Humanity. Mt. Tabor and Forest Park are my favorite places in Portland to find my sanity (besides the yoga mat). I love a good glass of pink bubbles, paired with cheese or chocolate or both. I am from Switzerland after all. My family and friends mean the world to me.

I am truly grateful that I get to be part of the Fuel family, as a teacher and as a student and part of the Portland yoga community. Lets’ sweat together! Namaste!
